The best way to reach Manali is to take an overnight bus from Delhi. Another best option is to take a cab from Delhi or Chandigarh to Manali. The nearest railways station is in Joginder Nagar which is 50 kms away, however, this isn't the best option to reach Manali as it is a narrow-gauge route and is incredibly slow.
Manali can also be reached from Leh by the Leh-Manali route, though it is open for only 4 or 5 months in a year during summers when the snow is removed by the Border Road Organization of India. Still, this road is very picturesque and is one of the most beautiful ways to reach Manali.
The nearest airport is Bhuntar, located at a distance of 50km from Manali and 10km from Kullu. Air India operates a flight from Delhi to Kullu, however, services are irregular and prices very high. You can hire a taxi to go to Manali from the airport or you can go to Kullu and take a bus which operates frequently on this route.
On arriving at Delhi Airport/ Railway Station, our representative will pick up our guests. Next we move to Manali. It would be a 12-14 hours drive from Delhi. One of the most popular hill stations in Himachal, Manali offers the most magnificent views of the Pir Panjal and the Dhauladhar ranges. By the late evening we reach Manali. We check into our hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
This morning after breakfast we move for local sightseeing of Manali. We start with the "HADIMBA DEVI TEMPLE". This cave temple was built in 1553 by Maharaja Bahadur Singh with a superbly crafted four tiered pagoda roof, it is famous for its exquisitely carved doorway. Next we move to "CLUB HOUSE".The Club House has comprehensive facilities that include a roller skating rink, an auditorium, billiards rooms, a library, a bar and restaurant makes wonderful outing for the day. Adventurous souls can also try their hand at zip-lining where one has to cross a river using ropeway. Next we move towards Tibetan Monastery, Van Vihar which are located near the famous Mall Road of Manali at a walking distance. After visiting the above we move across Beas river to the Vashisth Village which is well known for its hot springs. There are old temple dedicated to the sage Vashisth and to Lord Rama is believed to be more than 4000 years old. After covering the sightseeing we move towards our pre-booked hotel at Manali for dinner and overnight stay.
This morning after breakfast we leave for Solang Valley. Solang Valley is an activity hub located at 15 Kms North West of Manali Town. Here guests can enjoy Paragliding, Zorbing, Skiing, Cable car riding.Other leisure activities like Horse riding, fancy photography are the attractions that keeps guests engaged. Next we move to Rohtang Pass. At an elevation of 13,054 ft, Rohtang Pass serves as the gateway to Lahaul and Spiti valleys in Himachal Pradesh. While moving to the Rohtang Pass we cross the Rahala Waterfalls . A popular but rarely photographed waterfall, Rahala is 16 km from Manali towards Rohtang Pass. The beauty of the waterfall is its breathtaking descent from an altitude of 2500 meters. This nature’s beauty is an absolute treat for shutterbugs. Next we reach the Rohtang Pass. At an elevation of 3979 m above sea level, it exudes immense attractiveness. The Pass, is a mecca for adrenaline-pumping activities. Skiing, paragliding, zorbing, sledding, and other snow activities are among the most popular. These activities can also be availed at the Solang Valley, but the height of Rohtang pass does all the magic here. By the evening we are back to our hotel at Manali for Dinner and overnight Stay.
This morning after breakfast we check-out from our hotel at Manali. This will be a day long journey from Manali to Dalhousie. While moving towards Dalhousie we take a break ahead of Joginder Nagar. We visit Baijnath Temple. The ancient but magnificent temple is set in the backdrop of the Dhauladhar Himalayan Range. It is one of the most popular temples in Himachal Pradesh, and here, Lord Shiva is worshipped as the 'God of Healing'. After visiting the temple we head startight to Dalhousie. Dalhousie is famous for its meadows, dense jungles, and waterfalls. It is especially famous amongst honeymooners and family vacationers. Dalhousie is also known for woollen Himachali shawls, Tibetan handicrafts, Chamba handkerchiefs, and other paraphernalia. These can be bought from The Mall Road which is the town's main market. We reach Dalhousie by the late evening and check in to our pre-booked hotel. We have dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
This morning after breakfast we visit Khajjiar . One of the most scenic Plateau known as the mini Switzerland of India and is surrounded by dense pine and deodar forests. There is a small lake in center with a floating island and 9-hole golf course here. Next we visit Panjpulla. Known for its cascading waterfalls and five scenic wooden bridges, Panjpulla is a picturesque picnic spot and a starting point of several hiking trails. The nature is lushest and the falls are richest during the monsoon season, but throughout the year families can enjoy various rides at the small amusement park featuring slides, a Ferris wheel, and a small boating area. By the evening we are back to our hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
This morning after breakfast we check out from our hotel at Dalhousie and leave for Delhi. This would be a day long journey to Delhi. After we reach Delhi our representative will drop off our guests at the Airport/railway Station for their onward journey home.
