Another one of Himachal’s most commonly visited cities is Manali which experiences snowfall during the winters, attracting large crowds. Tourists flock to Solang Valley and Rohtang Pass since they are renowned for trekking, paragliding, skiing, horse riding and other adventure sports. The state is easily accessible via road, be it in a car, cab or bus, via the railway and sometimes via flight.

How to Reach Himachal Pradesh

By Road :

Himachal Pradesh is easily accessible by road from Chandigarh, Kalka and Pathankot. Interstate bus services are available from Delhi, Chandigarh, Jaipur and other neighbouring cities. Within Himachal, a good public transport service and taxi services serve reach all destinations in the state.

By Air :

Day : 01 : Delhi – Shimla

This morning our representative picks up our guests from Delhi Airport / Railway Station. After pickup we move to Shimla. Shimla was the summer capital of British India. Shimla still retains its old-world charm with beautiful colonial architecture, pedestrian-friendly Mall Road and the ridge lined up with multiple shops, cafes and restaurants. By the evening our guests reach Shimla and check into the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at Shimla Hotel.

Day : 02 : Shimla Local Sightseeing

This morning after breakfast we move for City Tour tour of Shimla and adjoining places. We visit Sankat Mochan Temple, Indian Institute of advanced studies, Lakkar Bazar. Rest of the day is free to explore various scenic spots enroute or visit mall road , enjoy shopping. By the evening we are back to our hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day : 03 : Shimla – Kullu – Manali

This morning after breakfast guests check out from the hotel and leave for Manali. En-route we go for sightseeing like Beas river, Pandoh Dam, Hanogi Mata Temple, Aut Tunnel. Further by the end of our journey we reach kullu. In our excursion to Kullu guests can do River Rafting (on their own expenses) and shopping of World famous Pashmina Shawls . Next we visit the famous Vaishno Devi Mata Temple on the way towards Manali. We reach Manali Check-in at the hotel, have Dinner & Overnight Stay at our pre booked Hotel.

Day : 04 : Manali City Tour & Local Sightseeing

This morning after breakfast we move for local sightseeing of Manali. We start with the "HADIMBA DEVI TEMPLE". This cave temple was built in 1553 by Maharaja Bahadur Singh with a superbly crafted four tiered pagoda roof, it is famous for its exquisitely carved doorway. Next we move to "CLUB HOUSE".The Club House has comprehensive facilities that include a roller skating rink, an auditorium, billiards rooms, a library, a bar and restaurant makes wonderful outing for the day. Adventurous souls can also try their hand at zip-lining where one has to cross a river using ropeway. Next we move towards Tibetan Monastery, Van Vihar which are located near the famous Mall Road of Manali at a walking distance. After visiting the above we move across Beas river to the Vashisth Village which is well known for its hot springs. There are old temple dedicated to the sage Vashisth and to Lord Rama is believed to be more than 4000 years old. After covering the sightseeing we move towards our pre-booked hotel at Manali for dinner and overnight stay.

Day : 05 : Manali - Solang Valley – Rohtang Pass

This morning after breakfast we leave for Solang Valley. Solang Valley is an activity hub located at 15 Kms North West of Manali Town. Here guests can enjoy Paragliding, Zorbing, Skiing, Cable car riding.Other leisure activities like Horse riding, fancy photography are the attractions that keeps guests engaged. Next we move to Rohtang Pass. At an elevation of 13,054 ft, Rohtang Pass serves as the gateway to Lahaul and Spiti valleys in Himachal Pradesh. While moving to the Rohtang Pass we cross the Rahala Waterfalls. A popular but rarely photographed waterfall, Rahala is 16 km from Manali towards Rohtang Pass. The beauty of the waterfall is its breathtaking descent from an altitude of 2500 meters. This nature’s beauty is an absolute treat for shutterbugs. Next we reach the Rohtang Pass. At an elevation of 3979 m above sea level, it exudes immense attractiveness. The Pass, is a mecca for adrenaline-pumping activities. Skiing, paragliding, zorbing, sledding, and other snow activities are among the most popular. These activities can also be availed at the Solang Valley, but the height of Rohtang pass does all the magic here. By the evening we are back to our hotel at Manali for Dinner and overnight Stay.

Day : 06 : Manali to Dharamsala

This morning after breakfast we check-out from our hotel at Manali. This will be a day long journey from Manali to Dharamshala. While moving towards Dharamshala we take a break ahead of Joginder Nagar. We visit Baijnath Temple. The ancient but magnificent temple is set in the backdrop of the Dhauladhar Himalayan Range. It is one of the most popular temples in Himachal Pradesh, and here, Lord Shiva is worshipped as the 'God of Healing'. After visiting the temple we head startight to Dharamshala. Dharamsala is the home to Dalai Lama, the Buddhist leader who runs his government in exile from Dharamsala. Now, what better place on earth than this little town set on the foothills of Dhauladhar ranges to experience the rich and regal Tibetan culture. We reach Dharamshala by the late evening and check in to our pre-booked hotel. We have dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day : 07 : Dharamshala Sightseeing - Dalhousie

This morning after breakfast we check out from our hotel and move on to visit Namgyal Monastry. It is the largest Tibetan temple outside Tibet. The monks residing here in the monastery carry out practices for the well-being of Tibet and work as a centre of learning and meditation on the Buddhist philosophical exposition. Next we visit Dalai Lama Temple. It is a politico-religious centre in Dharamsala. Ideal for peaceful meditation and religious rumination, the temple is full of lamas at all points of the day chanting on prayer wheels or beads. The majestic temple is in close vicinity to the abode of Dalai Lama and is frequently visited by him to preach and conduct prayer meets. Next we move on to visit Dharamshala Cricket Stadium , also known as the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association (HPCA) Stadium. It it is one of the highest sports grounds in the world. The stadium is open for tourists even when no matches are scheduled. By the afternoon we start for Dalhousie. Dalhousie is a popular hill station in Himachal Pradesh, boasting views of the snow-capped peaks of the Dhauladhar ranges. Dalhousie is famous for its meadows, dense jungles, and waterfalls. It is especially famous amongst honeymooners and family vacationers. By the evening we reach Dalhousie and check into our hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day : 08 : Dalhousie Sightseeing

This morning after breakfast we visit Khajjiar . One of the most scenic Plateau known as the mini Switzerland of India and is surrounded by dense pine and deodar forests. There is a small lake in center with a floating island and 9-hole golf course here. Next we visit Panjpulla. Known for its cascading waterfalls and five scenic wooden bridges, Panjpulla is a picturesque picnic spot and a starting point of several hiking trails. The nature is lushest and the falls are richest during the monsoon season, but throughout the year families can enjoy various rides at the small amusement park featuring slides, a Ferris wheel, and a small boating area. By the evening we are back to our hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day : 09 : Dalhousie - Delhi Drop Off

This morning after breakfast we check out from our hotel at Dalhousie and leave for Delhi. This would be a day long journey to Delhi. After we reach Delhi our representative will drop off our guests at the Airport/railway Station for their onward journey home.
